Mumbai में रातभर heavy rainfall और thunderstorms ने हालात बिगाड़ दिए। IMD ने 16 सितंबर तक के लिए Yellow Alert जारी करते हुए चेतावनी दी है कि आने वाले दिनों में और बारिश के साथ waterlogging और low-lying areas में traffic disruptions देखने को मिल सकते हैं।
सोमवार आधी रात के बाद Mumbai के residents की नींद, तेज़ बारिश और thunderstorms से टूटी। Reports के मुताबिक, South-Central Mumbai में सुबह के समय बारिश और भी ज़्यादा तेज़ रही।
X (पहले Twitter) पर जारी weather update में बताया गया:- ‘सुबह 4:30 बजे का Update – South-Central Mumbai में पिछले तीन घंटों से लगातार heavy rainfall हो रही है और कम से कम अगले दो घंटे तक इसी तरह heavy rainfall जारी रहने की संभावना है। कई areas में waterlogging का खतरा है। #MumbaiRains‘
IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Mumbai Amid Heavy Rainfall
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) ने 15 सितंबर के लिए Mumbai में Yellow Alert जारी किया है और पूरे दिन thunderstorms के साथ heavy rainfall की संभावना जताई है। यह चेतावनी 16 सितंबर, मंगलवार तक effective रहेगी। Authorities ने low-lying areas में waterlogging और traffic jams की आशंका भी व्यक्त की है।
Mumbai Heavy Rainfall Cause Waterlogging and Traffic Disruptions
रातभर हुई heavy rainfall ने Mumbai के कई हिस्सों में traffic को बुरी तरह प्रभावित कर दिया। South और Central Mumbai के कई areas में waterlogging की खबर है, जिससे commuters की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। Officials ने पुष्टि की है कि Andheri Subway (Andheri West) को flooding के कारण बंद करना पड़ा है, और vehicles को Gokhale Bridge से divert किया जा रहा है।
Mumbai Traffic Police ने X पर post करते हुए जानकारी दी:- ‘Andheri Subway (Andheri West) में करीब 1 से 1.5 फीट तक rainwater भर जाने के कारण traffic बंद कर दिया गया है। Vehicles को अब Gokhale Bridge route से divert किया जा रहा है।’
Weather agencies ने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर heavy rainfall इसी तरह जारी रही तो South और Central Mumbai के कई हिस्सों में waterlogging और बढ़ने की संभावना है।
IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall in Maharashtra, Telangana, and Vidarbha
IMD ने आने वाले दिनों में Northeast Maharashtra में heavy to very heavy rainfall का अनुमान जताया है। शनिवार को Konkan, Goa और Marathwada में 120-200 mm तक बारिश record की गई, जबकि Madhya Maharashtra और East Madhya Pradesh में 70-110 mm rainfall दर्ज हुआ।
North Telangana और Vidarbha region के ऊपर बना low-pressure system, एक cyclonic circulation के साथ, northwest की ओर बढ़ने की संभावना है और आने वाले दिनों में upper-level disturbance के रूप में बना रह सकता है।
Pune Faces Heavy Rain, Red Alert Issued as Dams Reach Near Full Capacity
रविवार रात Pune में heavy rainfall और thunderstorms ने हालात बिगाड़ दिए, जिससे flood का खतरा बढ़ गया। Social media पर ‘thunder’ और ‘Horrible’ lightning strikes के कई videos viral हुए। IMD ने सोमवार सुबह 4 बजे शहर के लिए Red Alert जारी किया, जो 7 बजे तक effective रहा। इसके अलावा Solapur और Ahmednagar के लिए भी Red Alert जारी किया गया, Thane और Raigad के लिए Orange Alert, जबकि Nashik, Palghar, Jalna और Nagpur के लिए Yellow Alert घोषित किया गया।
Times of India के मुताबिक, Pune को पानी की आपूर्ति करने वाले चार dams में से तीन में ताज़ा inflow दर्ज किया गया है। Varasgaon में 21 mm, Panshet में 20 mm और Temghar में 3 mm बारिश record हुई। इनका combined storage अब 29.09 TMC तक पहुँच गया है, जो कुल capacity का करीब 99.8% है।
Pune Residents Share Shocking Lightning and Flood Videos on Social Media
रविवार देर रात Pune के कई हिस्सों में हुई heavy rainfall के बाद internet users ने social media पर लगातार lightning strikes के videos share किए, जिन्हें उन्होंने ‘कड़कड़ाती’ और ‘भयावह’ करार दिया। एक user ने X पर post करते हुए लिखा:- ‘Pune के Hadapsar में हुई इस अद्भुत और भयावह lightning घटना को कैद किया। बिना किसी alert के इस season की सबसे heavy rainfall देखी।‘
एक अन्य user ने video share करते हुए लिखा:- ‘#Pune #PuneRains में आंधी और lightning का level देखें।’ एक user ने तो यहाँ तक लिखा:- ‘क्या Pune में cloudburst या कुछ और हो रहा है??? लोग सुबह flood के बीच उठेंगे।‘एक अन्य user ने सवाल उठाया:- ‘क्या ये sound booms हैं या बिजली? ये बिल्कुल भी normal नहीं लग रहे।‘
एक user ने रातभर की heavy rainfall के बाद X पर अपनी society की parking में पानी में डूबी हुई car की photos share की।
